The Tri pike Cultural and Artistic Association organizes activities such as education, theoretical research, pedagogical work, production, and promotion, with the aim of supporting artistic creation and cultural events in Ljubljana and beyond. The association brings together people who want to contribute to the development of art, currently focusing primarily on the fields of puppet theater and performing arts for children and young people, as well as storytelling events, while in the future we are also interested in delving deeper into the fields of illustration, literature, and film. We pay special attention to increasing the visibility of quality art from different cultures and languages by developing projects in the field of interculturalism and interlingualism, and by providing quality cultural and artistic education for all generations.
Our activities include:
– Production and dramaturgy: we participate in the preparation, design, and execution of theater performances, performances, literary, and other cultural projects.
– Discussions and reflection: we organize discussions after performances, moderate debates, and offer critical reflection on cultural projects.
– Publishing: we prepare and distribute publications and digital content.
– International cooperation: we connect with similar associations and organizations at home and abroad, and encourage international exchanges and artist residencies.
Cultural and artistic education for children and young people
At Tri pike, we believe that early exposure to culture and the arts is crucial for the development of creativity and critical thinking. That is why we offer a wide range of educational and creative programs for children and young people:
